A test forklift truck with an electric drive train has been equipped with
instruments to measure the occurring electrical and mechanical stresses. Based
on these data, lifecycle tests were carried out on different test rigs, to compare
the failure characteristics of the examined electronic components of the tested
forklift truck under electrical and mechanical stresses. These experiments were
especially performed on the drive train contol module, which was operated at
under typical operating electrical loads in a test rig. Together with an elektro-
dynamic shaker the influence by vibrations and shock loads on the control
behaviour of this component was examined.
